Jennifer is is a writer, poet, and certified trauma-informed Yoga Therapist and training Psychotherapist. Specialized in somatic’s and mind-body approaches. She’s a graduate of the Child and Youth Care program at the University of Victoria and graduated with over 700hrs of clinical supervisions. A graduate of Vancouver School of Healing Arts Yoga Therapy program with over 120 hours of clinical supervision. Jennifer is a member of the IAYT (International Association of Yoga Therapy) and the EAPM in European Association of Psychosomatic Medicine. Currently training at Regent’s University London and as she is working towards her UKCP designation as a psychotherapist.
Jennifer recently attended Harvard Medical School in Cambridge Massachusetts for a training certificate in mind-body medicine through the Herbert Benson Research Institute. As well, Jennifer has participated in the C.G. Jung Institute psychoanalysis winter intensive training in Küsnacht, Switzerland where she completed 40hrs+ of analytical psychology training. Jennifer is currently gaining her somatic EMDR Therapy certification to continue adding to her repertoire of therapy resources and introduction education in IFS (Internal Family Systems) through the IFS institute founded by Dr. Richard Schwartz. Jennifer believes firmly in maintaining congruent within her continuing education by learning and adding to her repertoire of training to increase her skillset as a developing therapist.
