Faciltaited by Sydney Burger a Los Angeles based Breath-work teacher and movement practitioner, alongside Jennifer Miles a london based somatic psychotherapist trainee, yoga therapist, and breathwork and meditation teacher. A retreat curated for writing, rest, and community. In a world at war — to be a body retreat is actively seeking how to further create not just spaces for respite, but space within our own bodies to find rest and connectivity when a world is being bombed. Understnad has rest and self-care are not jsut a act of managing consumerison and late stage capitalism but rather is an active poltical resistncee. Showing revergence to writers such as Audre Lorde and the blank panthers movement in the 1960s for understanding self care not as consumerism, but as a plotical act of resisstance and form of community care.

Sydney Burger itnergrates eastern philosphy, neurosceince, and earth-based and land-based into her approach drawing from her teachers in Costa Rica and Mexico City.
